About Mt Carmel
Mt. Carmel Cemetery provides a sacred place for burial with reverent care. It’s a place where your family can remember you or your loved ones in a peaceful and hope-filled setting. Death is not the end, but rather a passageway to everlasting and eternal life. A beautiful tract of land on a gently sloping hill, part of it heavily wooded, operated by a Board of Directors that functions as an entity of the three Catholic parishes of Paducah, Kentucky namely St. Francis de Sales, St. Thomas More and Rosary Chapel.
Mission Statement
Our Mission is to care for this consecrated burial ground and to proclaim, through our words and actions, our belief that the community of faith is unbroken by death. With compassion and reverence we carry out the works of mercy, especially to bury the dead; to comfort those who mourn; to pray for the living and the dead. We believe in the resurrection of the body and life everlasting.
